Market Director for Insurance & Risk

Oleiv is the Market Director for Insurance & Risk at Genus, one of the company’s three priority markets. He holds commercial responsibility for the market area, including new sales and the development of existing customers. He is focused on strengthening Genus’ position as the preferred partner for insurers developing and modernising business-critical solutions.

Oleiv joined Genus in 2017 and has worked closely with leading Nordic insurers such as KLP, Storebrand, Tryg, Fremtind, Gjensidige, and Frende. As Lead Business Engineer and Team Lead for Insurance in Professional Services, he combined customer advisory, project management, and solution development, with particular expertise in claims, fraud, AML, KYC, health assessments, and system integrations.

He holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU, with specialisations in computer science, artificial intelligence, strategy and international business development. With deep insight into both the insurance industry and the Genus platform, Oleiv is committed to bringing Genus closer to its customers, building long-term partnerships, and driving profitable growth.
