News: Nina Elisabeth Holt named one of Norway's leading women in Tech
8 March 2023, on International Women's Day, Abelia (NHO's association for knowledge and technology companies) and ODA-Nettverk named Norway’s 50 leading women in Tech.
Genus is thrilled to share that Nina has been selected as one of these 50 inspiring women. She is the Team Lead in Genus for Public Safety, manages a team of 12, and is a part of our operational management team.

A passion for making applications in the public sector accessible
Nina is responsible for our work at Norway’s Police IT unit (PIT), our largest customer in the public sector. PIT has about 700 employees, and Nina and her team are essential to creating better IT solutions for Norway's population and the police force.

No-code enables more women into Tech
Nina presents people with application development without using code (no-code). This technology allows more people to develop software than traditional development.
“With no-code app development in Genus, you can create an enterprise application in weeks instead of months. The process is quick and easy because you can use pre-built templates and drag-and-drop features. You don't need to be an expert in programming to develop no-code apps. Now, anyone with a basic understanding of technology and logic can create an app - allowing more people to work in Tech.”

Statistically speaking, more women are represented in no-code app development. A solid 15%* more women work with no-code compared to traditional development (*Forrester survey from 2019).
